Accessibility statement
We want Parent Sense to be usable by as many parents as possible, including those using screen readers, magnification, captions or other assistive technology.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Where we currently stand
We have not yet carried out a formal accessibility audit of our app or website, so we cannot claim conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA. We would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. Work to assess where we stand has now started.
What the app already does
The app follows your device's font size and display settings, so text scales with your preferences. You can change the presentation theme. The app supports the accessibility features built into iOS and Android, including options for parents with reduced vision and parents with hearing difficulty.
What we do not yet know
Because we have not completed an audit, there will be barriers we are not aware of. If you come across one, please tell us. Until our assessment is complete, what parents tell us is our best source of information and we treat it that way.
Alternative formats
If you need any of our content in a different format, email info@parentsense.app and we will do what we can to help.
Reporting a problem
If you find something you cannot use, email info@parentsense.app. We will acknowledge within 24 hours and tell you what we intend to do about it.
What happens next
We are carrying out an initial assessment of the app and website against WCAG 2.2 AA. Once it is complete we will publish what we found, what we intend to fix, and update this statement.
