Discovery Health Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1. Discovery Health is an administrator of medical schemes (“the Schemes”) and it offers Discovery Health Parent Journey (‘the Journey’) to the members of the Schemes, this includes principal members and dependants (collectively referred to as “Beneficiaries”). Discovery Health has contracted with Sense-IT Limited to provide Beneficiaries with access to the Parent Sense App (‘the App’) as part of the benefits offered in the Journey. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Beneficiaries who have enrolled on the Journey and are pregnant and/or who have children under the age of 1 (one) years old and who subscribe to the App.

1.2. These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to, and are incorporated by reference in, the Parent Sense standard Terms and Conditions found at https://parentsense.app/terms-conditions/. Beneficiaries will be required to accept the Parent Sense standard Terms and Conditions in order to subscribe to the App and to receive the Parent Sense benefits offered to Beneficiaries by virtue of their enrolment on the Journey.

1.2.1. The Beneficiaries who have enrolled on ‘the Journey’ and subscribed to the App shall have access to the following benefits, paid for by the Scheme:

1.2.1.1. Premium access to the App until their baby is one years old.

1.2.1.2. Free access to monthly webinars 

1.2.1.3. Access to all Parent Sense courses including the Birth and Lactation course

1.2.1.4 Access to a robust home play programme 

1.2.1.5 Free access to Aiah chatbot*

Any services described above that are not used within the premium access period shall be forfeited. As these services are paid for by Discovery Health, Parent Sense will not bill beneficiaries for the specified services.  All maternity services/benefits are only accessible if registered with Discovery Health and the Beneficiaries are pregnant and/or have children under the age of one.

1.3 As a Beneficiary, you consent to Parent Sense sharing your and/or the dependant’s personal information with Discovery Health, including the products and services taken up by you within the App, as well as your app usage information. For further information about how we process your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy at https://parentsense.app/privacy-policy/. Data sharing between Parent Sense, the Scheme and Discovery Health is a requirement to enable us to offer and to administer the products and services set out herein. 1.4. If you have any queries related to any of your Parent Sense benefits as a participating Beneficiary, please contact us via https://parentsense.app/help/ or email [email protected]. Please indicate that you are contacting us as a member of the Scheme administered by Discovery Health. 

1.5. Parent Sense reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Users will be notified via email of any changes in Terms and Conditions.
